From a garage in bay area's Mountain View, Ca to the world’s biggest stages, Grammy-nominated artist, producer, and songwriter Klypso has lived a life defined by grit, resilience, and reinvention. As a teenager, he honed his craft working with Bay Area icons like E-40, Too $hort, and Mac Dre before moving to Los Angeles at 17, where he spent five years under the wing of Dr. Dre. His breakthrough came with a Grammy nomination for producing Lupe Fiasco’s Best Rap Album of the Year; a moment that cemented his place in hip-hop history.
Klypso went on to produce for 50 Cent and toured nation-wide as Flo Rida’s stadium DJ. In 2022, he found his true super power as an artist. His independent smash Low Rider (No Lighter), featuring Snoop Dogg, Doggface, War, Cheech & Chong, and George Lopez, proving his ability to move culture on his own terms through his label: Space Monky Ent.
Now, Klypso has recently launched his boldest chapter yet; beginning with Stray Cat. More than a single, it’s the lead story in a universe of sound and vision, launching with a superhero-style music video and comic book release about the man who fell from the sky, an angelic figure chasing light through darkness.
