Lead singer of contemporary R&B group 112, Q Parker embarked on a solo career in 2008. Born Quinnes Rammond Parker in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 24, 1977, he rubbed shoulders with Daron Jones, Michael Keith and Slim in high school, and together they formed the group 112, which was noticed by Sean "Puffy" Combs, who signed them to his Bad Boy Records label. By 1996, 112's debut album was an international success, with hits such as "Only You" and "Come Seem Me". Four albums followed until 2008, when Quinnes Parker decided to embark on a solo career. After an unnoticed mixtape, the artist signed with the Malaco label and recorded the album The Manual (2012), featuring appearances by Faith Evans, Styles P and Crystal Johnson. The album reached No. 28 in the R&B/hip-hop charts. After several years' silence, Q Parker returned in 2020 with the tracks "Made For" and "I Need You", before collaborating with The Shindellas on "Think Me" (2024). The same year, he returned to the Radio Adult R&B charts (#26), with the track "Beg".
