Benzz

Benzz, born in London, United Kingdom, is a British rapper of Moroccan descent who grew up near Ladbroke Grove. He played youth football for Queens Park Rangers and had tryouts with Brentford FC before turning to a music career in September 2021. He initially recorded tracks under an anonymous persona, wearing a bandana mask. His breakthrough came with his debut single, “Je m'appelle” (2022), released through Heightless Records, which gained viral traction on TikTok and was featured by major sports accounts such as FIFA, the UEFA Champions League, and Real Madrid. He followed this with the singles “Alors alors” (2022) and “Drouba” (2023), the latter a collaboration featuring Baby Gang, ElGrandeToto, and 3robi. He has received multiple certifications, including a gold disc in Belgium for “Je m'appelle” in 2023 and a platinum disc in Poland for the same track in 2023, while also earning German, Danish, and French certifications in 2024.
