LA COYA is from the world's navel: Ecuador (South America) where the sun is closest to the earth. She always brings with her this radiance in her music and dance. A young migrant, she left her country at the age of 18 and chose to give into the experimentation and adventure in her life. She lived in Lyon, New Orleans, and Paris where she explored the scenes of these cities by defending and promoting her Latin groove.
For her first project, she works hand in hand with the Franco-Argentine producer and guitarist, Mathias Di Giusto having worked for artists such as Maître Gims, Vitaa, MHD, Dadju, Florent Pagny, and Louane.
She also wins a music production competition that allows her to work with American producer Sergio George (x16 Grammy Awards: JLO, Maluma, Daddy Yankee, Marc Anthony) in her project.
She thus embarks on the creation of an eclectic cultural and musical cocktail in which the traditional rhythms of the different regions of Latin America (the Pacific coast, the Amazon, and the Andes) are mixed with electronic and urban sounds, in French and Spanish.
