Lydia the Bard

Real name Lydia Buckley, Lydia the Bard is a British singer-songwriter based in London. She first came to prominence in 2021 with cover videos and parodies, notably herDisney Princesses But They're Villains series, featuring numerous revamped versions of songs from the American company's various animated films. Lydia the Bard's distinctive folk-pop style is adorned with rich string arrangements, while retaining an independent approach. After more than seventy-five singles of various covers and original compositions in the space of four years, she released the EP Afraid of Quiet (2024), followed by the album The Woods (2025), featuring the singles "Are You Listening?" and "Feed Us Your Girls".
