Dj Thomilla

Thomas Burchia, known professionally as DJ Thomilla, was born on January 19, 1974, in Stuttgart, Germany. He began his career as a producer and DJ, gaining recognition in the early 1990s as part of the Stuttgart hip-hop scene with the group Kolchose. Thomilla's breakthrough came in 1996 when he produced a remix for "Picknicker" by Die Fantastischen Vier. He collaborated with prominent figures in German hip-hop and international artists like Outkast and Mary J Blige. In 1991, DJ Thomilla released his debut album Genuine Draft, which reached Number 11 in the German charts. He also contributed to the success of other artists, producing albums for Charley Ann Schmutzler and Jamie-Lee Kriewitz, winners of The Voice of Germany. DJ Thomilla is known for his collaborations within the DJ duo Turntablerocker with Michi Beck from Die Fantastischen Vier, releasing their first album Classic in 2001. Additionally, he formed the project Bodymovin with DJ Friction, releasing their debut album in 2009.
