Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks, an American indie rock band from Chicago, Illinois, was formed in 2009 by Cadien Lake James. The group initially consisted of childhood friends including Jack Dolan and Connor Brodner, with Clay Frankel joining later. Twin Peaks emerged from the DIY music scene in Chicago, where they attended and played shows at various house venues. Their debut album Sunken, released on July 22, 2013, was recorded in James' basement using basic equipment. The band's second album, Wild Onion, was released on February 9, 2015, through Grand Jury and Communion Music. Notable songs from this period include "Stand in the Sand" (2013), "Chrome" (2013), and "Flavor" (2014). Their third album, Down In Heaven, was released on May 13, 2016, and included singles like "Walk to the One You Love" and "Butterfly". Lookout Low album was released in 2019. Live album Freezing In Chicago — Live at Thalia Hall, December 31st, 2017 captured the band during Down in Heaven years and was released in 2026.
