After early punk stints with State of Alert and Black Flag, Henry Rollins formed Rollins Band in 1987 with guitarist Chris Haskett, bassist Andrew Weiss and drummer Sim Cain. The group released its debut "Liar" in 1994, followed by The End of Silence (1992) and Weight (1994). In 1997 the band issued Come In and Burn under DreamWorks, featuring the track "Starve", and performed on Saturday Night Live to promote the album. After a lineup change that brought in bassist Melvin Gibbs, the group released Get Some Go Again in 2000 and Nice in 2001, with the live album The Only Way to Know for Sure (2002). The band disbanded in 2006, and Henry Rollins retired from music in 2011.
