Dennis Huddleston, better known by his musical alias 36, is a British electronic music producer renowned for his ambient soundscapes. His work under the 36 moniker has been a defining force in the world of ambient, downtempo, and deep, immersive electronica since the early 2010s. His productions are often described as both soothing and haunting, evoking vivid landscapes and introspective moods. His first release as 36 appeared in 2009 with his album Hypersona while subsequent albums such as Dream Tempest (2014) and Void Dance (2015), further established him as a key figure in the ambient and downtempo scene, garnering attention for their meticulous sound design and ability to evoke a deep emotional resonance. He has continued to put out ambient-led releases faithfully over the years, including The Lower Lights in 2019 and Exit All the Lights in 2024. He also runs his own label, 3six Recordings.
