Woods is an American folk rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2005. They initially consisted of Jeremy Earl and Jarvis Taveniere, who had previously performed together in the band Meneguar. They released their debut album At Rear House (2007). Over the years, their lineup evolved, with notable members including Kevin Morby, Aaron Neveu, Chuck Van Dyck, and Kyle Forester. Their discography includes the albums Songs of Shame (2009), which Pitchfork Media designated as "Best New Music", With Light and with Love (2014), City Sun Eater in the River of Light (2016), Love Is Love (2017), Strange to Explain (2020), and Perennial (2023). Jeremy Earl founded the Brooklyn label Woodsist, through which they released their work.
