Landon Christian Anderson Pigg was born on August 6 1983 in Nashville, Tennessee and began his career as a singer‑songwriter, performing locally and attending songwriting workshops. He first gained attention with the single "Can't Let Go" in 2006, followed by the EP This Is a Pigg the same year, which established his indie pop style and led to a brief deal with a small independent label. In 2006 he released his debut studio album LP, featuring tracks such as "Can't Let Go" and "Great Companion", and the album entered the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart at number eight and peaked at number one hundred ninety-one on the Billboard 200. In 2008, he issued the EP Coffee Shop and the single "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop", which reached number thirty-three on the Adult Pop Top 40 and number thirteen on Adult Contemporary, and was later used in De Beers and AT&T commercials. In 2009 he released the album The Boy Who Never, which maintained his chart presence and coincided with a tour across fifteen states with Madi Diaz. Pigg collaborated with Lucy Schwartz on "Darling I Do" for the Shrek Forever After soundtrack, appeared in the film Whip It, and contributed songs to television series such as Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill. The single "Golden Hour" was released in 2019.
