Sho Baraka helped shape the rise of Christian hip-hop in the early 2000s. He is a founding member of 116 Clique and was one of the first artists signed to Reach Records. As part of Reach, he toured globally and contributed to the label’s groundbreaking influence on faith-driven hip-hop. His 2016 independent release, The Narrative, debuted at #1 on iTunes’ Hip-Hop chart and received acclaim from Billboard, NPR, and Christianity Today.
