Damon is an American artist born from Palmeston North, New Zealand. His music is influenced by wide range of musical genres from folk to heavy rock. Silent Alarm was Damon’s first full length studio album in 2008 with Vital Records. The twelve folk inspired songs on Silent Alarm were recorded in Nashville at Pineway Studios. The album was produced and mixed by David Calvin Johnson and Damon Barnett, and mastered by Jim Demain (Josh Rouse, Michael McDonald, Tony Bennett, Jimmy Buffett, John Hiatt) at Yes Mastering. His second solo release Despite Sepulveda, released in 2021 was a rock departure from his folk roots. Damon’s latest Album Solaris is available now
