Darren Korb

Darren Korb, born on November 5, 1983, in San Jose, California, is a composer, songwriter, and voice actor known for his work in video game soundtracks. From the age of five, Korb was involved in musical theater and continued this through high school. His breakthrough came with Bastion, the debut game from indie developer Supergiant Games, where he served as audio director and composer. For Bastion, Korb handled all aspects of the game's audio, including music, sound effects, and voiceover recordings. The soundtrack received critical acclaim and won the Spike Video Game Awards for Best Original Score and Best Song in a Game for "Build That Wall (Zia's Theme)." Korb continued his collaboration with Supergiant Games on Transistor, where he composed an "old-world electronic post-rock" soundtrack. He also contributed to the soundtracks of Pyre and Hades, providing voice acting for protagonist Zagreus in the latter game.
