Zachary Walter is an American musician, film composer and audio engineer with a career in music spanning 2 decades. To date, Zachary has scored 7 feature length films, 9 short films, 4 documentaries, 2 podcast series and a 2021 TV series ‘Doomsday’. Zachary also independently released 2 full length albums, an EP, composed an original piece for ‘Windfall Dance Company’ and wrote an original composition titled ‘Velkominʼ, which was performed by the ‘Bloomington Symphony Orchestraʼ. Zachary has worked with Indiana based production company ‘Pigasus Picturesʼ to produce an award-winning feature film titled ‘The Good Catholicʼ. In 2017, ‘Pigasus Picturesʼ film ‘The Good Catholicʼ took home the ‘Panavision Best Feature Filmʼ award at the ‘Santa Barbara International Film Festivalʼ, as well as the ‘Leonardo DaVinci's Horse Awardʼ for best screenplay at the ‘Milan International Film Festivalʼ. In 2020, ‘In Her Shoes’ won the ‘Webby Awards’ for Best Documentary. Also in 2020, ‘The Right Girls’ won ‘Best Documentary’ at both the ‘New York Independent Film Festival’ and ‘Dumbo Film Festival’. In 2021, ‘Doomsday’ (an Amazon Series) was ‘EMMY’ nominated for the episode ‘Incantation’ which was scored by Zachary Walter. Zachary continues to pursue his passion in composing music for film, content, orchestras, as well as releasing his own works.
