Curtis Macdonald is a Recording Artist, Composer, Producer and Engineer. An educated pianist and percussionist with 26 albums spanning from New Age to Chill Jazz, Curtis is also very active evaluating/critiquing music for placement in film and TV. A Graduate of California institute of the Arts, Curtis lives and works in Westlake Village, CA. Where he continues to explore the boundaries of popular instrumental music.
Entering the New Age genre in 1991 with the release of "The Highland Project", Curtis throughout the years has released music that is reflective and heartfelt. With the creation of his personal label CMMP, he has been able to expand his horizons and explore the genres of music that had major influence on him.
In 2002, Macdonald was signed to the independent New Age label Eversound and with production assistance from John Adorney has released 3 CDs culminating with a "best of" collection with "Where the Heart Belongs" in 2018.
His side project “Inner Balance – Modern Meditation” ventures into Ambient Meditation music concentrating on stress reduction.
