A finalist in the 3rd season of the Nouvelle École TV series in 2024, rapper Jyeuhair has been on the French music scene for several years. Born in French Guiana on September 23, 1995 into a family of Madagascan origin, Jason Rhobinson (real name) grew up between Madagascar, Marseille, Djibouti and Caen. In 2017, he joined the La Dose collective and recorded a debut EP entitled Anamo. Revealed at the Printemps de Bourges festival in 2020, he performed on the Inouïs stage after opening for Disiz, Guizmo and Colombine. A former student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, he decided to devote himself to rap, producing his own videos, sometimes in 3D. In 2021, he was a guest on Joseph Kamel's track "Ce que je préfère", before the release of his solo track "Aldébaran", followed by "Elefan" and "C'est mort c'est dead" in 2022, then "Ciel " in 2023 and "Ça va aller" in 2024. The year 2024 saw his breakthrough on the biggest scale, with his participation in the 3rd season of the Nouvelle École series. Qualifying from one event to the next, Jyeuhair performed "C'est la vie", the duet "Laptop" with Kalash and his hit song "Misaotra", which reached 144th position in the SNEP rankings. Jyeuhair came 3rd in the final of the televised competition, and reappeared shortly afterwards with the duets "Toc" with singer Maureen, and Raplume's "Vault". After the Daizoiso EP and the single "Jeune malagasy", he signed the track "Ast€rix" for the musical La Haine, adapted from the 1995 film. At the end of 2024, the album Mylnui is released, from which the track "Bye bye adios" is taken.
