I play the guitar since I know myself. I have been dedicating myself to Choro for more than fifteen years and I can "accuse" my father for introducing me into this universe. A music lover, we had at home a collection of LPs with various gems, from classical music to treasures of Popular Culture, with several albums by the label Discos Marcus Pereira, including choro albums.
Other references were made in my journey with the deepening of musical studies. Professors Marcus Ferrer, at Proarte, and Paulo Aragão, from Escola Portátil de Música; the compositions and arrangements with Professor Jayme Vignoli at Casa do Choro and my participation in the team of arrangers in the Experimental Orchestra of OMB and in the arrangements of Tumcurá. Influences that appear on my first album, Corredeira, with my own Choros.
In 2013, I met Zanzar group, which defined a new direction in my life: Popular Culture. Viola caipira arrives to join in 2017. I currently participate in Rio de Violas and Duo Caviola, with Laila Aurore and also in the Tumcurá group, studying and playing coco, maracatu, baião, frevo, xaxado, galope, jongo, ijexá, samba de roda, capoeira, in short, this wonderful diversity of rhythms of this beautiful Brazil.
