The Sacados, an Argentine electronic music group, was formed in Buenos Aires in 1990. The project was led by Darío Moscatelli, with various vocal collaborators during its early period, and Cynthia Nilson joining the group later in the 1990s. Their debut single "Ritmo de la noche" became a significant breakthrough, leading to widespread popularity across Latin America. The group’s style blended house and pop music and was characterized by Spanish-language adaptations of international dance hits. Notable songs included "Bikini a lunares amarillo" and "Sabes mi número". The Sacados’ success continued with albums such as Asunto chino (1994) and Volumen III, which included tracks like "Me pica" and "Paren de venir". Their music gained strong traction in Mexico, leading to appearances at events such as Festival Acapulco and the Eres Awards. In 1998, The Sacados signed with BMG México and released Mucho mejor. By 2001, they had relocated to the United States, where Darío Moscatelli worked as a producer for artists including Ricardo Montaner, and Cynthia Nilson later received two Grammy nominations for her work. The group reunited in 2016 for the 90’s Pop Tour, performing across Mexico, the United States, and other parts of Latin America.
