Stephen Lynch

Stephen Andrew Lynch, born July 28, 1971, in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, is an American comedian, musician, and actor known for his satirical songs. He began performing in local community theater productions as a child and graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in drama in 1993. After moving to New York City in 1996, he found success playing comedic songs at venues like Catch a Rising Star and Caroline's. He signed with What Are Records? in 2000 and released his debut album A Little Bit Special that same year. He gained national exposure with his Comedy Central Presents special in 2000. His subsequent albums include Superhero (2003), The Craig Machine (2005), 3 Balloons (2009), Lion (2012), and My Old Heart (2019). He also released live DVDs, including the RIAA-certified Gold Live at the El Rey in 2004.
