Grupo Mente Maestra

Grupo Mente Maestra, formed in 2020 in Culiacán, Sinaloa, offers a fresh and innovative take on regional Mexican music, blending traditional norteño elements with a distinctive style. The group consists of Jesús Castro (bass guitar and lead vocals), Efraín Martínez (accordion and backing vocals), Israel Sánchez (bajo quinto), and Luis Bojórquez (drums). Known for performing original compositions penned by Jesús Castro, the band showcases his songwriting talents, previously recognized through works performed by prominent artists such as Los Plebes del Rancho, Ulices Chaidez, and Kevin Ortiz. Humildemente, their debut album, came out in 2022 and was followed by Chica la Bola and Las Estrellas in 2023. Over the next few years, Grupo Mente Maestra released the singles "Bendito el Jale" (2024), "Amigos Mis Huevos" (2024), "El Ñoño" (2025), and "Los Carnales" (2025).
