Lord Apex

Shaeem Santino Wright, known as Lord Apex, was born on July 12, 1996, in White City, London. He is a British rapper whose music spans multiple styles, including UK hip-hop, alternative hip hop, and lo-fi hip hop. His stage name was inspired by Madlib’s alter ego, Quasimoto (Lord Quas). Apex released his first track in 2014, beginning his music career, and has since amassed over seven million views on his YouTube channel. He released Interplanetary Funk in 2017 and the EP S.O.I.L. in 2018. His collaboration with New York producer V-Don produced the album Supply & Demand (2020), featuring American rappers such as Murs, CJ Fly, and Westside Gunn. In 2023, Lord Apex released The Good Fight, continuing to showcase his distinctive style and off-kilter flow.
