Grupo Cumbia Nova

Cumbia Nova, a dynamic Mexican cumbia band, emerged in 2004 in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, blending traditional cumbia rhythms with contemporary elements to create a fresh and infectious sound. Their breakout hit, "Tus Mentiras," released in 2020, captivated audiences with its poignant lyrics and danceable melody, solidifying their place in the Latin music scene. Building on this success, they released a series of singles and albums, including Gigante Es Mi Corazón (2020), Imaginándote (2020), and Se Acabó Nuestro Amor (2020), showcasing their versatility and commitment to the genre. In 2021, they collaborated with Grupo Yeah! on "Mujer Incandescente," further expanding their musical repertoire. Their 2022 releases, such as "Ya No Estás Aquí" and "El Mambo de Puebla," continued to resonate with fans, while their 2023 singles "Un X100to," "La Cumbia de Don Goyo," and "Ritmo Chevere" demonstrated their evolving sound. In 2024, they offered a norteña version of "Tus Mentiras," collaborating with Imperio Elegante, and in 2025, they released the live album Cumbia Nova (En Vivo), featuring a live rendition of "Tus Mentiras."
