Celtic Thunder

Celtic Thunder is an Irish male vocal group formed in 2007 by producer Sharon Browne, with the collaboration of composer Phil Coulter. The group, accompanied by musicians, is renowned for its theatrical stage performances blending traditional Celtic music, folk, pop, soft rock and elements of musical comedy. Their first show was recorded at Dublin's Helix Theatre in August 2007. Since its formation, Celtic Thunder has released some fifteen studio and live albums, as well as DVDs. Among their most notable successes are founders The Show and Act Two in 2008, followed by It's Entertainment! (2010) and Heritage (2011), each of which went double platinum. They were followed by Voyage and Voyage II in 2012, Mythology in 2013, Inspirational in 2017, Celtic Thunder X in 2018 and Homeland in 2021. After multiple changes of singers and musicians, the band, made up of Neil Byrne, Emmet Cahill, Damian McGinty and Ronan Scolard, recorded the album Odyssey (2023). A new tour resulted in the album The Live Experience (2024).
