Virga Music Project is composed of Roger Pinhal and Pinto Helder, originally from Mozambique.
Why Virga Music Project?
Virga is just a beautiful phenomenon, which is Rain that evaporates before touching the ground, which is where we would like to have our music... always in the air.
We started playing and composing together in 2007, different music styles, mainly rock (on a band called Darkest Place) and acoustic until 2014.
In 2014 we started composing/producing electronic music as well and always different styles, like House, dubstep, Chillstep, we could call it a learning process.
We decided to call it a Project because we are open-minded towards music, we compose from chill music to heavy metal, and we are trying to use all of our experience and music bases, plus featuring another artist/songwriter and make something a bit different, and we believe that different music styles produced by the same artists can lead people to listen to different styles, and artists with different experiences working together will create "combined art".
During this pandemic, we have been working outdoors and do the final tweaks on our studios, it is a bit more challenging but we are willing to give our best.
Our goal is to work solely with music, so far Roger is a Musician and an Airline Pilot, and Pinto a Musician and an Accountant (that's how are sponsoring our music at the moment).
