Chamz is an American poet and spoken word artist from Orlando, FL, who hails from the hip-hop era. His art is deeply personal and thoughtful, exploring topics such as depression, suicide and addiction. He debuted on the national stage in 2015 with his poetic contributions on THEBLKLBL’s album, OPVS. He now emerges as a solo artist with Tenses: A Period Piece, the poet’s debut studio album. This innovative, 9-track project takes us on a journey across a spectrum of deeply personal and thoughtful topics layered over hip-hop influenced instrumentation.
