Bad Habitz, also stylized as BAD HABITZ, is a Georgian independent electronic music duo. The group consists of Erekle Getsadze and Helen Kalandadze.
Their music combines a variety of Rap, Synthpop, EDM, and Pop.
Erekle Getsadze studied music in Tbilisi, Georgia.
He's known for composing original music scores for theatre performances including "King Lear" at Tumanishvili Film Actors Theatre, "Macbeth" at Erwin Piscator Drama Theatre in Marburg, Germany, and "Hecuba" at Kutaisi State Drama Theatre. In 2019 He's been nominated for The Best Score For Theatre Performance at the Georgian Theatre Awards. He’s also known for specific live performances using the special vocal effect “vocoder”
that makes his vocals sound similar to Daft Punk, Herbie Hancock, and Kraftwerk.
In 2019, he became the best musician in the contest “Forbes 30 Under 30 - Arts, Culture and Style”
He’s been nominated for “The Best Live Performer” and his album “Barfusserstrasse” was nominated for “The Best Album or EP Of The Year” at the Electronauts - Online Music Magazine and Annual Awards for Electronic Arts, Music and Innovative Pop Culture.
He won “The Best Newcomer” at the Electronauts.
The same year, his track “Tsintskaro On My Mind” won “People’s Choice” in the British Radio “Radio Selector Contest”
In 2021 Erekle won “Electronauts XII Grand Prize” and his album “FRANKFURT” won the best album category.
In 2022 Erekle became “The Independent Artist To Watch In Europe” at the Independent Music Companies Association - IMPALA

Erekle has been working for three years at the Musical Production Company “Composer Squad”, where he composed over 1000 tracks in different genres including Cinematic, Jazz, Hip Hop, Dance, Future Bass, and many more.
Helen Kalandadze is a Musician from Tbilisi, Georgia.
In 2009, Kalandadze participated in the Georgian version of "Star Academy". She later began working in television presenting. In 2010, Kalandadze performed as a backing singer at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Later, in 2013, she won the first season of "Erti Ertshi", Georgia's version of "Your Face Sounds Familiar". Kalandadze later moved to Israel, where she resided in Rishon LeZion and took part in "HaKokhav HaBa L'Eurovizion 2017"
Helen Kalandadze founded the organization "Teen Club Studio", which provides a space for teenagers to sing, play musical instruments, and receive vocal training. In October 2017, she was announced as one of the co-hosts of the "Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017".
In 2019 she was one of the Georgian commentators for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
In 2021, Erekle Getsadze and Helen Kalandadze founded the duo BAD HABITZ.
