Hagara is a collective musical unit from Jakarta, Indonesia formed in 2017. Consisting of Bagas Sigit Nugroho (Guitar), Satrio Nugroho Aji (Vocal, guitar), Joshua Alexander (Drums), Luthfi Setya Pradhana (Synthesizer), their music is often described by their listernes as a blend of progressive rock, post-rock and shoegaze with the distinctiveness of tight guitar riffs, odd time signatures, dreamy synthesizer sounds and an Indonesian pop-esque vocal notation.
Having their first EP “BARAKA” released in 2020, later that year they also released “Khayat” as their single which became the cornerstone of their musical direction.
