Grego Jardim is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and arranger.
Born on February 16, 1988, Bahia in Vitória da Conquista (southwest of Bahia), self-taught, he started playing the guitar at the age of 14 but his professional career began in 2016 after abandoning his career as an Electrical Engineer, a citizen of the world, today living on Florianópolis Island in Santa Catarina, since then he began to accumulate musical genres in his trajectory: Classical music, rock, forró, afoxé, samba, African music, reggae and others.
In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, he released his first single “Hora da Lombra”, which talks about the noise that the mind makes in moments where it should be silent, in 2021 he released another single “Feijão”, in honor of his Grandma Ana, a very danceable hit with influences from Kuduro, Afrobeat and Axé.
His goal through music/art is to bring joy, reflection, love, culture, rhythm…. Break barriers and prejudices between musical genres, with great respect!
