Ruth “Ruthi” Navon, born May 30, 1951, in Haifa, Israel, is an Israeli singer and actress whose career began in the early 1970s when she starred in the musical Don't Call Me Black and released her self-titled debut album Ruthi Navon in 1973, featuring compositions by Nurit Hirsh and Yehonatan Geffen. In 1975, she issued the single “One Little Hour”, and in 1976 she debuted on Broadway in Ran Eliran's Don't Step on My Olive Branch. After becoming a baalat teshuva, she released the religious album Lead Me to Your Way in 1988, followed by Live – A Journey to Myself (2002) and B'Hiluch Gavoha (2008). She toured the United States, Europe, and South Africa, performed at Carnegie Hall in 1981, and sang “Netzach Yisrael Lo Yeshaker” at Israel's 25th Independence Day celebration.
