The Tough Alliance was a Swedish electronic pop duo formed in 2001. The group consisted of childhood friends Henning Fürst and Eric Berglund. Their first EP, Make It Happen (2004), was followed by the EP Holiday (2004) and the debut album The New School (2005). The band launched the record label Sincerely Yours in 2006. Their discography includes the instrumental album Escaping Your Ambitions (2006) and the album A New Chance (2007). During live performances, the members were known for swinging baseball bats on stage. Their recordings include the EP New Waves (2006), the EP Neo Violence (2008), and the EP Prison Break (2009). The Tough Alliance disbanded in 2009.
