Rockie Lynn Rash, born November 14, 1964, in Statesville, North Carolina, is an American country music artist. Adopted into a Southern Baptist family, Rash began playing guitar at age 12 and later performed with local bands. After serving as a paratrooper in the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division, he attended the Guitar Institute of Technology. In 2005, Rockie Lynne signed with Universal South Records and released his debut single "Lipstick", which reached number 29 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In 2007, he released the album Twilight. After leaving Universal South, he signed with Robbins Nashville and released "I Can’t Believe It’s Me" in 2008. Rockie Lynne has performed over 12 times at the Grand Ole Opry and founded Tribute to the Troops, a charity supporting children who have lost a parent during military service.
