Windsor for the Derby is an American post-rock band formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1995 and later based in Austin, Texas. Founded by Dan Matz and Jason McNeely, the group has maintained a rotating lineup while the two founders remained its creative core. Known for blending post-rock, slowcore, and ambient influences, Windsor for the Derby has released several albums through independent labels, including Trance Syndicate, Young God Records, and Secretly Canadian. Their discography includes albums like Calm Hades Float (1996), Difference and Repetition (1999), and Against Love (2010). Their music has also appeared in the soundtracks of Marie Antoinette and I Am Zozo.
