King Brothers is a Japanese rock band from Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, formed in 1997. The group's debut self-titled album, King Brothers, appeared in 1998, followed by ★★★★★★★ in 1999. The ensemble issued the album キングブラザーズ on February 25, 2001, and made its major-label debut on Toshiba EMI with the release of the album King Brothers on May 23, 2001. Subsequent releases include the EP 6×3 (2002), produced by Jon Spencer, as well as the albums 13 (2003) and Blues (2004). The band toured extensively, embarking on the Conquest of Japan Tour in 2000, the Japan Insanity tour in 2004, and a New Zealand tour in 2007. The group gained notoriety for its destructive live shows, which led to bans at several venues in Osaka.
