Trent Dabbs, raised in Jackson, Mississippi, is an American singer-songwriter whose career began in Nashville. He first gained attention with the self-titled collaboration album Ashley Monroe and Trent Dabbs (2007), followed by solo albums such as Quite Often (2004) and Southerner (2011). Over the next decade, he issued solo albums including Decade Fades (2008), Future Like Snow (2012), Believer (2015), The Optimist (2016), and Positano (2018). He also co-wrote tracks for other artists, including "Girls Chase Boys" (2014) for Ingrid Michaelson, "High Horse" (2018) for Kacey Musgraves, and "Growing Pains" (2018) for COIN. His work appeared on television shows such as Grey's Anatomy and American Idol, and he co-founded the musical collective Ten Out of Tenn, which sold out the Ryman Auditorium in 2015.
