JOYNER are a Los Angeles indie-pop duo formed by sisters Summer Joyner and Torrey Joyner. They introduced the project in 2018 with the self-titled EP Joyner, led by “White Lights,” then followed it with the standalone single “Peaches” in 2019 and the songs “City” and “Pacific Coast Highway” in 2020. After a quieter stretch, they returned with “Don’t You Want Me” in 2022 and added “Ted Lasso” and “New Friends” in 2023. Their first full-length album, Joyner II, arrived in 2024 and included songs such as “Strawberries,” “Wilson Peak,” “Bagels,” and “Devotion”; in the group’s own account, they wrote the record in the year after their mother’s death. Later that year, they also appeared with Silverberg on “Real Thing” from the Netflix film Uglies. In 2025 they reached a wider screen audience with “Another Day In Paradise,” their version of the Phil Collins song recorded with Cat vs Cat for Hulu’s Paradise.
