Danae Dörken, born on August 12, 1991, in Wuppertal, Germany, is a German-Greek classical pianist who began her musical journey at the age of five. Her early training included a masterclass with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling in 2002, leading to further studies under him and later Lars Vogt at the Musikhochschule Hannover. She received numerous scholarships and won national and international competitions. She performed extensively across Europe, the United States, and China, appearing in venues like the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Wigmore Hall in London. Notable collaborations include performances with her sister Kiveli Dörken, Alban Gerhardt, Lars Vogt, and the Szymanowski Quartett. Her discography includes albums such as Fantasy (2014), Concertos (2016), East and West (2019), and Odyssee (2022).
