Almah, a Brazilian heavy metal band, formed in São Paulo in 2006 as a side project of Edu Falaschi. Almah's self-titled debut was released in 2006 and featured contributions from notable musicians such as Emppu Vuorinen (Nightwish) and Casey Grillo (Kamelot). Initially a solo project, Almah eventually transitioned into a full-time band. Their second album, Fragile Equality, released in 2008, was well-received both nationally and internationally, earning multiple awards, including Best Brazilian Band and Best Album from various metal magazines and websites. The band toured extensively, performing at major festivals such as Rock in Rio (2013) and ProgPower USA (2015). Almah released three more albums: Motion (2011), Unfold (2013), and E.V.O. (2016). The band went on a hiatus in 2017 after performing at the Manifesto Bar in São Paulo.
