Elias Dris is a singer-songwriter rooted between France and the United States. At 20, he traveled to California on a one-way ticket and recorded his debut album "Gold In The Ashes" which was met with widespread critical acclaim in France. He then collaborated with Morgane Imbeaud on a celebrated tribute to Simon & Garfunkel, before releasing "Beatnik Or Not To Be" a record that took him on tour across France, sharing stages with Lou Doillon, Selah Sue and Suede. He was selected in the Ricard Live Music Top 10 and chosen by the legendary duo Pierre and Gilles for their exhibition La Fabrique des Idoles at the Philharmonie de Paris, alongside Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Lio. He has worked with mixer Kieron Menzies, a longtime collaborator of Lana Del Rey, mastering engineer Adam Ayan, and French legend Dominique Blanc-Francard. Shaped by a deep love for American independent cinema and Hollywood mythology, his music moves freely from folk to pop, electronics and hip hop. His latest single Bad Movie is out now.
