Christian Kane is an American country-rock singer and actor who was born in 1972. He is the lead singer of the ensemble Kane, which consists of the rhythm guitarist Steve Carlson, the lead guitarist Jason Southard, the bassist Will Amend, and the drummer Ryan Baker. The group’s discography includes the studio recording Kane (2001) and the EP Christian Kane (2010), the latter of which reached number 28 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Their major-label debut, The House Rules (2010), reached Number 1 on the Heatseekers chart and number 25 on the Country Albums chart. Kane is famous for his musical contributions to soundtracks for the series Angel (2001) and Leverage (2010), as well as for the single “The House Rules” (2010), which reached number 49 on the Country Songs chart. His later work includes the single “Let Me Go” (2011), which reached Number 1 on the CMT Today's Top Videos chart.
