Scott Bond, born in the United Kingdom, emerged as a British DJ in 1989, initially performing at venues such as Cream and Gatecrasher, which he co-founded. His commercial breakthrough came with the 1998 single “I’m Not Going Home”. Bond’s debut album, Platinum, was released in 1998, and he continued to build his catalogue with Gatecrasher: Discotech Generation in 2001 and Crasher Live in 2004. Collaborations with Solarstone yielded the track “Third Earth”(also known as “3rd Earth”), while his partnership with Marc Mitchell produced “Airfoil” in September 2014. Bond toured internationally with Gatecrasher, was voted World’s Finest Resident DJ in the Mixmag Dance Awards, and maintained a presence on major dance labels through remix work and co-productions under the name Q:Dos.
