October Fall, an American pop‑punk group from Chicago, Illinois, was formed in 2003 by vocalist‑guitarist Pat D'Andrea and guitarist Clark Harrison, under the name Silver Lining. The band toured with Ashlee Simpson and The Click Five in 2005, before signing with Decaydance, the Fueled By Ramen imprint run by Pete Wentz. Their debut EP, Taking Shape, was released in 2005, followed by the album A Season in Hell in 2006, which featured collaborations with Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump and Paramore's Hayley Williams. In 2006, they opened for Fall Out Boy and The All‑American Rejects on the Black Clouds and Underdogs tour and played Bamboozle. The band disbanded in October 2007.
