Random Recipe is a Canadian musical group formed in 2007 in Montreal, Quebec, by Frannie Holder and Fabrizia Di Fruscia. The band initially gained attention for spontaneous performances in public spaces like the Montreal metro and taxis. In 2009, they received the MIMI award for best new group. Random Recipe released their debut album, Fold It! Mold It!, in September 2010, which appeared on the Earshot national top 50 chart. In 2011, they performed for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa and won the Prix Miroir for best Canadian artist. Their discography continued with Shake It! Bake It! in 2011 and Kill the Hook in 2013. After Vincent Legault left the group in 2015, Holder and Di Fruscia released the 2018 album Distractions, featuring the single “Fight the Feeling”. In 2020, their song “Out of the Sky” was featured in a television commercial.
