Rue D'la Gouaille was a French folk rock group from Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, active between 1994 and 2010. Formed by David Hougron on vocals and guitar, Morvan Prat on double bass, and Morgane Le Grand on tin whistle and accordion, the band initially played traditional Irish and Breton songs alongside French covers. Their style evolved to include original compositions in both French and English, influenced by artists like The Pogues and Los Carayos. In 1997, they released their debut album, The Celtic Pogo, which helped popularize them locally. Over the years, Rue D'la Gouaille released several albums, including Le Pavé (1999), Microsillon (2002), and Fête foraine (2005). The group toured extensively across France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and even China. Rue D'la Gouaille disbanded in 2010, followed a farewell concert, and released a DVD featuring live performances and archival footage.
