Colleen Marie D'Agostino is an American singer-songwriter from Simi Valley, California, who rose to prominence through her work as a bandleader and electronic music collaborator. While attending San Diego State University in 2005, she formed the rock band The Material, with whom she toured and released several records, including the debut extended play Tomorrow in 2007 and the studio albums What We Are in 2011 and Everything I Want To Say in 2013. D'Agostino also launched an electropop side project called With Beating Hearts in 2011, issuing its self-titled debut extended play that same year. Her major career breakthrough arrived in 2013 when she began collaborating with Canadian electronic music producer Deadmau5, first on the demo track “Drop the Poptart” and subsequently as the featured vocalist on his platinum-certified hit single “Seeya”, which they performed live at the 2015 Juno Awards. Following this success, she signed with his imprint mau5trap to release her debut solo extended play, Collide, in March 2015, which featured her solo debut single “Stay”. Her subsequent collaborations include the singles “Other Side” with No Mana in 2018 and “Fight” with AZRUM in 2026.
