100blumen, an electropunk band from Düsseldorf, Germany, was founded in 2005 by Marcel Nickels (also known as Marcel van Blumen) as a solo project focused on industrial and electronic music. Their first release was Pizza 2 Jahreszeiten (2005), a split CD with Störfunk. In 2008, Chris van Blumen joined as vocalist and guitarist, turning the project into a duo. Between 2007 and 2012, 100blumen released several albums on the industrial label Ant-Zen, including In Floriculture There Is No Law! (2007), Floral Annihilation (2008), Down With The System, Long Live The System! (2009), and Surveillance (2011). The band expanded into a trio with drummer Malte van Blumen for Distrust Authority (2012). In 2015, they released Under Siege, and later signed with Plastic Bomb Records, releasing the single “Oktober” (2017) and the album Keine Namen – Keine Strukturen (2018).
