D'Influence, a British acid‑jazz group, emerged in 1990 as a club‑scene collective with founding members Kwame Kwaten, Sarah‑Ann Webb, Ed Baden‑Powell, Ned Bigham, and Steve Marston. Their debut, Good 4 We, was released on East West Records in 1992 and reached number 7 on the Blues & Soul Top British Soul Albums chart, while the single "Good Lover" peaked at number 11 on the Blues & Soul Top British Soul Singles chart. The 1995 follow‑up, Prayer 4 Unity, entered the UK R&B Albums Chart at number 17 and produced the singles "Midnight" and "Waiting". In 1997, London came out on Echo Records, hitting number 8 on the UK R&B Albums Chart; a 1998 cover of Michael Jackson’s "Rock With You" reached the UK Singles Top 40. After a decade of inactivity, the group reunited in 2017 for club and festival shows, including Love Supreme, and performed again in 2018 across the UK, Africa, and Europe.
