The Black Pacific, a Californian punk rock group, was founded in 2010 by Jim Lindberg, the vocalist of Pennywise, alongside drummer Alan Vega and bassist Davey Latter. Their debut album The Black Pacific was released in 2010 under SideOneDummy Records, marking the band’s breakthrough. In October 2010, guitarist Marc Orrell and bassist Gavin Caswell joined the group. The group returned in 2024 with the single "I Think I'm Paranoid" and the studio album Here Comes Our Wave, issued in 2024 through Dine Alone Records.
