Marie Bergman is a Swedish singer and songwriter born on November 21, 1950, in Stockholm. She achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by pop, folk, and jazz and for participating in the Eurovision Song Contest three times. Bergman achieved professional recognition for a career that began as a member of the ensemble Family Four between 1969 and 1973. She achieved professional recognition for winning Melodifestivalen in 1971 and 1972 with the ensemble and in 1994 with Roger Pontare. Her recording career began with the debut studio recording Mitt ansikte (1974) followed by the studio recording Närma mej (1977). Bergman achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Kärlekens ansikte (1989) and the studio recording Varje människa bär en historia (1992). Her discography included the live recording Levande (1993) and the compilation recording Guldkorn (2000). Bergman achieved professional recognition for being inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame in 2018. Her recording career included the studio recording Den mänskliga faktorn (2014).
