Valley Lodge, an American power pop band from New York City, formed in 2005 when John Kimbrough and Dave Hill collaborated on their home demos. The group included bassist/singer Phil Costello and drummer Rob Pfeiffer. They released their debut album Valley Lodge in 2005, which gained significant popularity in Japan, leading to a re-release with bonus tracks in 2008 and a tour in 2009. Their second album, Semester at Sea, was released in 2009, featuring the cover “Sentimental Lady” by Bob Welch. Eddie Eyeball joined the band on bass guitar/backing vocals for this release, with Phil Costello switching to guitar. Notable songs include “Over It” and “All of My Loving”, which were featured in episodes of the sitcom Cougar Town.
